but it can define the character of a room. Or color it with an emotion. The impression it makes creates a feeling or an atmosphere. It falls flat to accept its role,
but wisely chosen and placed it simply owns the stage and the room. With its rugs and carpets, Kasthall has defined rooms and spaces for more than 130 years. We have evolved along the way and created iconic rugs
that have been passed on to the next generation.
But also added meaning to rooms. We will never cease to look ahead, but in order to find our direction we need to understand where we come from. This year, we are doing exactly that. WE ARE KASTHALL
Made in Sweden. Designed for the world since 1889.
Kinna. Sweden. The world. In 1889, textile craftsmanship met nature-inspired design when Ludvig
Andersson founded Kasthall. A textile industry, the name of which would reach fame far beyond the borders of Sweden. Rugs that would find a place in many a heart.
Today, Kasthall is a leading global supplier of superior quality rugs and textile floors, represented in 30 countries and showrooms in Stockholm, Milan and New York. Kasthall boasts global presence, but all production happens in Kinna. Like it always has.
Under the guidance of Kasthall Design Studio, new design- and production ideas are independently developed inhouse and through collaborations across the globe. Granting us the opportunity to create unique rugs and carpets for a boundless world of interiors where Kasthall's know-how and craftsmanship is reflected in private and public spaces.
