Sustainable event whom the programme and organisation of the Symposium have always kept place with the progress made in data & telecom networks. It has been held in a different location every time since its inception in 1988.
The United States has a long history in the telecom sector with technology developments, network building, deregulation, etc. The American government's 2009 recovery plan includes the deployment of high-speed internet, with the particular aim of reducing the internet divide between urban and rural areas. The Symposium aims to bring players from the telecommunications industry together to discuss and share ideas in a friendly atmosphere at a highly professional conference.
