New Bobcat Telehandler boosts profits on farm
After years of impressive performance from their
Bobcat skid-steer loaders, first a second hand
753 and currently a new
S150 model, the Els Clapers farm in Moià near
Barcelona has further increased efficiency and profitability by purchasing a new Bobcat T2250
telehandler.

Contributing to the increased flexibility is the
Bob-Tach attachment system which the T2250
telehandler shares with the S150 skid-steer loader, allowing the farm to use the same attachments on the two machines for work on the farm.
Els Clapers rears Friesian dairy cattle and the farm has been passed down from one generation to the next, maintaining traditions but continually updating the facilities at the farm, increasing mechanisation and automation for enhanced convenience and to reduce costs.
Joan Serra and his son Jordi Serra currently manage the family business. Joan said: We use the new T2250 telehandler to carry out jobs at height, such as stacking bales of hay in the barn and loading trailers or trucks. This complements the work of the compact loader. It also offers us great versatility and profitability.
Versatility because we can use the same attachments on both machines.
The Bob-Tach system is the same on both; practical, convenient and allowing attachments to be changed in a simple manner. And profitability because this allows us a great saving on attachments.
